How to Export a Screen to Excel

Any screen within Spectrum TimeClock can easily be exported to Excel.  To export a screen or report to Excel, do the following:

  1. Click somewhere within the data of the screen.
  2. Press the <CTRL><A> keys on the keyboard to select all text in the selected frame.
  3. Press the <CTRL><C> keys on the keyboard to copy selected text to the Windows Clipboard.
  4. Run Excel.
  5. Click into Cell A1.
  6. Select Excel's Edit / Paste menu.

One important thing to remember is that any links that were pasted into Excel are still hot and can be used to navigate back into Spectrum TimeClock until you select Spectrum TimeClock's "Logout" function, or your Spectrum TimeClock session times out.
