Spectrum Research Releases New Version of its Web Based Time Clock Software

NASHVILLE, TN (August 4, 2005) - Spectrum Research, Inc. today released the third version of its web based time clock software for use by firms with 20 or more hourly employees.  Spectrum Research is a leading provider of employee time and attendance solutions.

Spectrum TimeClock is designed to run over the internet and behind corporate firewalls on Microsoft web and database servers, and replaces traditional hardware time clocks.  Spectrum Research also hosts the software for its customers who do not have the necessary computer infrastructure to support the software.

"This new version builds on the power and reliability of Spectrum TimeClock's first two versions", said Alfred Heyman, president of Spectrum Research.   "We've listened to our customers, have added many powerful new functions based on their requests", Heyman added.

Version 3 adds shift differential to pay employees a premium based on shift times, pay rate codes to pay employees different hourly amounts for different tasks and to track hours spent on specific tasks, time zone adjustments for organizations spanning more than one time zone, and support for California overtime and double time pay regulations

Spectrum TimeClock also allows employees to be organized into hierarchical groups with designated managers who can manage employees below them.
